Your Data

About this document

This document applies to you if:

  • you have requested a free trial by giving your email address, or,
  • you have ticked the consent box to receive marketing updates, or,
  • you have entered your email address into a website field, the only purpose of which is to receive marketing information

This document describes how we will store and process your data, and your rights under the GDPR.

My Possible Self Ltd is a Data Controller and Data Processor, and stores/uses your data in a compliance with the GDPR.

Data we store

  • Email Address

What we use your data for

By giving us your email, we use your details to contact you for the following purposes:

  • To send you your trial credentials.
  • To discuss the trial.

If you have consented to marketing, or given your address solely for the purposes of marketing updates:

  • For marketing updates.
  • Market research.

How we store your data

We store your data within the MailChimp system, one of our Data Processors (see below). If your account is associated with your email address, we also store it securely within our platform.

How long we store your data

We delete your electronic data 6 years after you have given it to us, unless you sign-up to our platform forming a contract between My Possible Self and yourself.

Removal of consent

To revoke your consent for us to store and process your data, please contact us at gdpr@mypossibleself.com.

Your rights under GDPR

Data protection (GDPR) legislation gives you various rights over how we store your data.


Once you have given us your contact details, we will only use them for the reasons detailed above.

You can remove consent at any time by contacting us at gdpr@mypossibleself.com

Right to be informed

You have the right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data. Details on what we collect and why are given above in the section “Data we store”.

Right of data access

You have the right to access and update your data. Please email us to see a copy of your data – see “Contacting us” below.

Right to rectification

You have the right to ask us to correct any data we hold on you. You can update your details by contacting us – see “Contacting us” below.

Right to erasure/Right to be forgotten

You have the right to delete all data we have that you have provided to us. Please contact us to do this – see “Contacting us” below.

Right to restrict processing

We do not process your data in any way, apart from using it to contact you. There is no automatic profiling performed at all.

Right to data portability

If you want a complete copy of the data we hold for you, please email techsupport@mypossibleself.com.

Right to object

You have the right to refuse consent to us processing your data in relation to:

  • Direct marketing
  • Statistical analysis

You can opt out of marketing updates by selecting “unsubscribe” in any email you receive from us, or by contacting gdpr@mypossibleself.com.

Statistical analysis is completely anonymous, and allows us to provide content that people enjoy, and fix any problems that people may be having. To opt out of this please contact gdpr@mypossibleself.com.

Rights related to automated decision making and profiling

We do not automatically profile you either internally, or against external data sources.

We use MailChimp for email marketing campaigns.

They are part of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, ensuring data is stored and processed in a way that is compatible with the GDPR.
